Shiras Hayam Girls Choir is a 3 month program that happens twice a year which brings together girls who have a passion for singing. All girls are welcome, no prior training or skills required!

Please read through all information below as each Shiras Hayam season is different and brings something new!
Our fall season is centered around learning, recording, and filming a song and music video.
Throughout the season, our classes are filled with fun games, activities, raffles, surprises, and opportunities for the girls to connect and have an amazing time together.
This fall, each age group will have its own special experience and we cannot wait to create another amazing season together!
The Program
Shiras Hayam Littles | 1ST - 3RD GRADE
After seeing how incredibly our youngest girls handled last season's music video experience, we're stepping it up for our Littles this fall!
Our 1st - 3rd Graders will learn and record their own song and star in a full professional music video production created especially for them. In addition to their main music video release, Littles families will receive a special extended version featuring additional footage, so the girl can enjoy seeing even more of themselves and their friends on screen!
1ST & 2ND GRADE: PLEASE NOTE - Please register your daughter only if she is ready to participate in a structured one hour class, follow along with the group, and is excited to sing and participate.
Littles includes 9 total classes, which includes recording and filming.
4TH - 6TH GRADE
Our 4th - 6th graders will learn and record an original song and star in a professional music video production together with our 7th and 8th graders.
We have some very exciting collaborations in the works with incredible talent helping us bring this project to life. We're keeping some of the details a surprise for now, but we cannot wait for the girls to experience what we have planned!
4TH - 6TH Grade includes 10 total classes, which includes recording and filming.
TC Teen Crew | 7th - 8TH Grade
Our 7th & 8th grade TC Teen Crew will star in the main song and music video production together with our 4th-6th graders.
In addition, they will record an additional song in which every girl will receive a solo, along with some other exciting things we have in store, especially for our oldest girls!
TC Teen Crew includes 10 total classes, which includes recording and filming.

Is Shiras Hayam voice lessons?
The short answer is no. We do vocal exercises each class, but our main focus of choir, is the sound of the choir as a whole. The vocal cords are a muscle, by setting a time each week for singing, your daughters voice will improve by default. We learn: breathing techniques, emotion while singing, acting techniques for the music video, and how to successfully record in the studio.
How much does it cost?
Each 6 week session is 350$ per girl. Siblings each get a 15$ discount. You can pay in two payments if you prefer.
If you want to cancel before the second class, you will receive half back. After the second class, there are no refunds as spots are limited and competitive.
Does my daughter need to have a “good” voice to join Shiras Hayam?
No! In Shiras Hayam we believe in honing in on each girl's individual singing ability. We try our best to give each girl a chance to shine. Classes in Shiras Hayam are a lot of fun, and for everyone to enjoy!
What does the music video day look like?
We will be filming two music videos: an original song and a beautiful cover song. The original song will be a larger production, with most practices focusing on it, while the cover song will be a smaller, shorter production.
Each video is different and we send out information when we have it closer to the film day. We film for about 2-5 hours at our film location.
What does my daughter wear to the music video?
The girls will be receiving adorable custom Shiras Hayam costumes. In addition the girls will need a specific outfit.
Each video is different but we give a heads up so you can buy or borrow from a friend. Generally we pick something practical like a black knee length flairy skirt, black tights, a white shell, and white sneakers
Will my daughter get a solo in the video?
While we try our best to allow each girl to shine in the music video, due to the size of the choir and many other filming/editing factors it is impossible to have an equal amount of screen time for each girl.
